Knife Pork and Spoon, LLC is a barbecue competition and catering company owned by Mike Rice and Nancy Haas. It began from a love of preparing quality, delicious food for family and friends and wanting to share the experience with others.  The competition "bug" was caught during the first competition in  November of 2012 and has inspired the team to continue entering contests ever since.  Friendships have developed with wonderful people through these events and the team is thankful to have their bbq family!  Catering allows us to share our love for barbecue and provide quality events for clients.

Mike is currently an IT professional and has been for the last 29 years.  His passion for barbecue has turned this once backyard barbecue enthusiast into a co-owner of  Knife Pork and Spoon's catering and competition business.

Nancy A. Haas

After teaching elementary school for 24 years in Florida and Arizona, Nancy is the full-time, co-owner of Knife Pork and Spoon's catering and competition business.
